Hi! I'm Robyn.
I live in a little house in Australia with my lovely wife and no cats whatsoever. (You can see a copy of our old wedding website here)
My socials are baglieg, baglieg, baglieg and baglieg.
A lioness walks into a restaurant and orders a steak. The waiter asks how madam would like her steak - medium rare, perhaps? She says "ROAR!"
My mum's recipes are here. The banana cake is the best in the solar system (the secret ingredient is... more banana). There's also Eva's unusual yeast-free beigli recipe and her ischler. Kata's rum balls are also good (the secret ingredient is... wait for it... more rum).
Adam Liaw recipes we like: Okinawan taco rice, dry curry mince, grandma pizza, tater tot casserole, panzanella, fish finger tacos, stamina-don, baby stir-fry, mushroom and spring onion noodles, Hayashi stroganoff, Tandoori tacos
Other recipes: Chickenpea Taco Salad, Chorizo, Capsicum & Borlotti Salad, Greek Lunch, Not Spicy Vietnamese Salad Pork Chops and Apples with Miso Caramel
I like computers and RTS games and The Locked Tomb and Murderbot and sudoku and kakuro and C# and Windows and Marvel and Star Wars. I have seen an anime and read a manga. I am the only Microsoft fangirl. I like strong colours; We Are Not At Home For Mr Beigecore. I built a hot pink computer once.
I used to reverse-engineer SQL databases and write code professionally but scrum is bad. Now I code as a hobby only and I'm studying cybersecurity. Occasionally I do digital arts.
I'm pretty good at C#. I can do JS/CSS/HTML, SQL, Python, VB6. I've lost count of how many programming languages I've used over the last 30+ years but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere around 15-20.
My first computer was an Apple ][e.
Here are some things I [made/am making]:
Creamy saag, Tangzhong (water roux) bread, chicken caesar hotdog, witness a rocket launch, see a solar eclipse
